Rising Records

Sheffield-based Rising Records was registered in 1980 with the Independent Label Association by owner/manager Pete Bangert. It has been trading since then as an independent. Set up to service the owner's recording and production needs, the scope was subsequently broadened to include projects of local musicians and bands. With the benefits of reasonable experience, the label's primary concern is aiding, advising and enabling musicians to record, produce and develop their products, by providing project management, musical and artistic input as well as through practical contacts. Some of our previous colleagues have moved on to do very exciting things.
