About Our Founder The American Dream It’s always been a dream of mine to move to America since I was a child. My sister who is 10 years older than me always had all the American gossip magazines in her room and was watching American movies all the time, I wanted to see the real America! But I wasn’t confident in my English and moving there by myself without family and friends was intimidating, I didn’t have enough courage. I kind of gave up on my dream and kept moving on with my life in Japan till mid-20s. But apparently, I couldn’t give up! I finally made my decision to explore my new life in America in when I was 26. The Vision When I moved to America, it was much different than what I dreamed about! The language barrier, not knowing anyone, and nobody knowing me, made it hard for me to adjust. It was very different from my first 25 years in Japan. But I didn’t give up! Despite the challenges I already started looking for my next dream! Since moving here I have been thinking about what I can do as a Japanese person living in the United States. Personal Experience Right before my father passed away, he was in a lot of pain. However, he was suffering from strong side effects of what the doctor gave him. This was before Japan had legalized CBD. When I heard the news that Japan legalized CBD, I was happy for Japanese people and at the same time I felt like I wanted to spread the word to Japan about how CBD is good for lots of people and actually can help save people. Motivation I felt like something clicked when I heard CBD was legalized in Japan! This was the product I wanted to bring to Japan from America so I could show them how well CBD works and how people benefit from CBD in America.
