Ristow Studio/Don Ristow is an award winning and versatile professional Graphics Specialist and Illustrator/Cartoonist. He has received recognition for his outstanding work and creative skill-set. In 1998 he received an "Entrepreneur of the Year” award given to him by the late Senator Paul Wellstone in a district of Saint Paul, Minnesota. He has 18 years experience within the creative industry. As a freelance contractor and small business owner, he has done work for many reputable companies including: Best Buy, Toro, Sony PlayStation/Atari, Warner Bros, Medical Arts Press, Target, Field and Stream, and several smaller reputable businesses. His wide range of experience and specialties includes: conceptual design, illustration/Cartoons, and graphic designs for logos, corporate ID packages, website design,(UI) interface game design, and advertising design for print and web media. He has earned multiple degrees in Multimedia, and a degree in Commercial Art. Don also has a total of 8 years of experience in teaching graphic design and educating college design students.
