Ritu Gupta

Born in 1978, Panipat, Haryana. Art is not just a feeling for me. Art is the feeling being materialised, incarnated, sculpted, painted with skill and technique. All the components in my paintings are linked with each other using vibrant hues amplifying the feelings. The figures and facial expressions evoke an overwhelming sense of togetherness. Figures in my paintings display a certain kind of pallid beauty. Over the course of my journey, I have added various mediums and media to my repertoire. In addition to using charcoal and oil colours for facial forms, I use water colors for landscapes. The color selection I make is always in perfect distinction against extremely adroit and intensely brilliant illustrations of characters in my canvases.
