River Venture Studio

River is world’s first and only industry 5.0 venture studio. We are world’s first and only accelerator cum startup studio that supports women and other representational minorities led industry 5.0, deeptech ventures. It is built on the industry 4.0 accelerator and ecosystem that our Founder, Dr. Viveka had built with the support of Singapore government. Further it combines the best of east and west as it powered by the combined resources of The Edify Project and our larger ecosystem partners River is built on 3 foundational pillars- 1) a global industry 5.0 community 2) Unique accelerator programme that guarantees compulsory proof-of-concept. Our startups do POC with corporates, working on real unmet needs and scale and land globally at the end of the programme. 3) a full-stack, multi-country startup studio. Within the next 3 years, we are committed to have reached 2M women and other representational minorities, supported women and minorities led startups, groomed 60 portfolio startups. I mapped the unmet needs of industries, and onboarded startups and innovations from tech transfer offices to address the needs. Through the journey, I realized the ultra-lean representation of women and. other representative minorities in the industry4.0 space. Withholding half the world population from access to information and resources; denying them a platform to share their perspectives, ideas; denying them an opportunity to create deeptech ventures, will be detrimental to an inclusive society that is empowered by technology. Industry 5.0, is the future of world. It just took someone and a community to lead us to where we are today as a modern society. I'm one of those many 'someones' who could envision that women and other representational minorities and industry 5.0 will lead us into the future."
