Riverside Dover is an independent local charity. Our dedicated staff and volunteers enable us to offer a range of services in Dover and the surrounding rural areas to older people and their carers. We offer a number of activities at our Riverside Centre in Dover. OUR MISSION Promoting dynamic services, support and activities which help adults share and enjoy a richer community and personal life OUR SERVICES Walk in Day Centre - Our popular day centre is open Monday - Friday and offers people the chance to socialise with a variety of activities. Facilities at the day centre include a snack bar where you can purchase food & drink (to include takeaway items) and our clients our offered a hot 2 course lunch. Meal Delivery Service - We are able to deliver a 2 course lunch and a separate tea to your door every day (excluding Saturday). The meals are designed to be healthy, balanced and nutritious and catered to your specific needs. We also provide vegetarian and gluten free meals on request. Foot Care Technicians will be able to provide a comprehensive foot health and foot care service including those who suffer from Diabetes Mellitus. Hairdressing Service - Our hairdressing service is operating in our newly refurbished clinician’s room. Julia is now offering appointments at The Riverside Centre every Friday at very competitive prices. Information & Advice Service - Along with Age UK, Hythe & Lyminge we are able to provide free & impartial advice on benefits, social & health services, assistive equipment and much more.
