Riverside School, Barking

Riverside School is a mixed 11-18 free school that opened in September 2013. We are fully subscribed in Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 and currently have 1200 students on roll, including our new sixth form. We will eventually grow to a full capacity of students. Our success is a result of an absolute emphasis on learning, the brilliant parental support that we receive and our close-knit team of enthusiastic and incredibly talented staff. There is a real sense of passion and dynamism that students and staff bring to all that they do, making Riverside School a superb place to both learn and to work. We serve our local community with the very highest standard of education to ensure ‘Excellence for All’. Riverside works in partnership with the Local Authority (London Borough of Barking and Dagenham) to meet the needs of a rapidly growing school population in the Thames View and Riverside areas in the southern part of the borough, on the north bank of the River Thames.
