RK BELL GROUP offers Civil Engineering, Highways, Surfacing, Plant Hire, Transport and Waste Management. Founded in 1941, RK Bell Group is a third-generation family-run construction business based in Bridgwater, Somerset. We deliver high-quality, cost-effective and flexible services across the South West and Wales. Civil Engineering - We provide infrastructure, highways, housing, commercial, retail and domestic projects for both public and private clients. Our experienced teams deliver contracts for Local Authorities, national developers and principal contractors. Surfacing - Our Surfacing Division delivers asphalt solutions for housing developments, commercial and retail schemes, Local Authorities, schools, sports facilities, car parks, private roads and driveways. Highways - Launched in 2025, RK Bell Highways specialises in Section 278 works, infrastructure delivery and highways maintenance. We work with National Highways, Local Authorities and principal contractors across the region. Plant Hire & Transport - We offer a modern fleet from 1.5-ton mini diggers to 30-ton excavators, available operated or self-drive. Services include low loaders, hook loaders and tipper lorries for haulage and muck-away. Attachments and biodegradable oil options are available. Waste & Recycling - Our licensed Waste Transfer Station produces certified recycled materials including 6F5, screened planings and BS3882-compliant topsoil. We also supply a full range of primary and secondary aggregates.
