The succeeding generations X&Y are no longer interested in the long-term careers/jobs, and in an industry which values experience, this is significantly eroding the technical capability. Furthermore, with the emergence of millennials in the workforce, seeking portfolio exposure ahead of long-term experiences, has created a vacuum in the engineering industry experienced by most firms. The advent of gig economy in which positions or projects are offered to independent workers for short-term engagements is currently offering a viable alternative to those no longer wanting a 9-5 gig. aims to address the industry shortage by offering a series of engineering and associated services taking advantage of the Gig economy. Operating on a virtual platform and catering to clients, we offer a pool of qualified and experienced professionals interested in doing a short-term gig, which we call “Gigengineering”.
