Bob Brown founded Robert Brown and Associates, Inc. in January of 1984. At that time, we represented a single line of pumps… Aurora Pump Company out of North Aurora, IL. We had one service technician to do start up and warranty work, and he used his own truck. In 1991, Bob passed the company onto his main sales associates and the name was changed to Robert Brown Associates, Inc.(If you didn’t notice, the “and” was removed before “Associates”). We added more pump lines and expanded our Service Department with additional technicians and a fleet of trucks. We further increased our equipment offerings to Pre-piped and Packaged Pump Systems, and other specialty lines to meet the needs of our growing customer base in the Commercial and Industrial markets. Ownership now remains with one of the original Associates – Nick Sirolli. Since the beginning, RBA has always been about Quality, Knowledge, Integrity and Honesty in the Pump and Pump System supply and service business. We may have changed our address and added product lines, but we have never changed our philosophy. In this business, it’s all about relationships. We value ours very highly.
