Robert Hill and Associates LLC, in their many years of experience in the life safety systems industry, provides assistance to engineers, electrical contractors and alarm installing companies in the design of new as well as retrofit fire alarm and voice evacuation systems. We can assume various responsibilities depending upon the client’s needs from creating bid specifications and documents to the device/appliance layout including riser, input/output matrix, as well as load, line loss and battery calculations for permitting plan review and installation. If needed we are experienced also in bid and submittal review and project management. We are not an engineering company nor are we licensed engineers. We work with engineering firms and electrical contractors who feel that their own fire alarm experience and familiarity with the current fire alarm codes may be a bit lacking. The owner, Bob Hill, has over forty years of fire alarm systems experience including several years on the NFPA 72, National Fire Alarm Signaling Code Fundamentals Technical Committee.
