Robotics And Machine Intelligence

Established in 2005, the Robotics and Machine Intelligence Club is one of the prestigious clubs of National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. The club hosts research and technical projects covering various fields ranging from assistive and mobile robotics, human-robot interaction, rapid prototyping, computer vision, artificial intelligence, among many. We aim to research on new ideas in the field of Robotics and Machine Learning. We propose to do so by undertaking research projects that demand innovation, formulation of algorithms and materialize our ideas. We host workshops like Genesis and Rapid Prototyping, events and competitions like Following and InHotts to engage students of the college in robotics. Further, our wide array of projects is displayed every year in the ISO certified tech fest Pragyan. RMI has a distinguished set of alumni around the globe from various related fields.
