Robotti & Company has been in the securities business since 1983. Our approach to investing is guided by the classic value investing tenets as pioneered by Benjamin Graham. Inherent in our approach is the belief that the market price of a security does not necessarily indicate its true economic value. Under the guidance of Bob Robotti, our analysts employ a fundamental, bottom-up approach to identify companies with solid balance sheets and the ability to generate significant amounts of free cash flow; yet are misunderstood, neglected, or just out-of-favor with Wall Street.
