Robust Gear has been manufacturing the highest quality custom, precision gears and machinery parts for over twenty-five years. We are proud to have served our customers locally, nationally and globally. We look forward to forging new relationships with the same commitment to quality and service while we maintain our current customer base. Robust Gear was founded in August, 1985, by Tarsem (‘Sem’) Tak in the town of Oakville, Ontario. We are a close-knit family business. In 2008, Sem’s son, Anjan, joined the business as General Manager after completing his education at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Together, they are committed to providing Robust Gear’s customers, the highest level of service and quality. Our goal is to work closely with our customer through all stages of designing, material selection and manufacturing. Our customers will continue to be able to consult our team of professionals in the design of specific gearing requirements and heat treating processes. Our current customer base is representative of a variety of industries, many of whom operate in the global market.
