I'm Robyn, a graduate of Louisiana State University, serving as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Level 2 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional to the Lafayette & surrounding areas. I work with people who are looking for someone to help guide them on their journey to something different. I tend to be relaxed in sessions & approach therapy as a partnership. However, I'm straightforward & direct with my clients but promise to always treat you with respect & compassion. I'm especially passionate about helping individuals heal from trauma. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I have undergone a variety of trauma-focused trainings such as but not limited to, EMDR, trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (tf-CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, & Written Exposure Therapy. I have also completed the Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors & Trainers (LASACT) program for addiction counseling & have a long history of working in substance recovery centers. My specialties include trauma & addictive disorders but I have experience & success in working with mood disturbances & other presenting issues. I'm passionate about working with others & remain engaged in continued education & personal learning to be the best for my clients. I believe in individualized treatment through the use of a multi-modal approach. Together, you & I will find a treatment that fits best for you and your needs. I have completed specialized training to offer Telehealth therapy sessions via my secure platform to anyone residing in the state of Louisiana and offer in person sessions on Saturdays in Lafayette
