Arts: The world is in need of the exceptional power of the arts, particularly the performing arts (theatre, film, television, dance, visual arts, etc.) which continues to cultivate wonder and captivation in the hearts audiences. All of Rock Alari Studios’ productions provide audiences the opportunity to experience this splendor again and again. Every play, film, and performance is an occasion to illustrate the transformative power of the arts. Impact: There are also many in the local, national, and international communities – from all walks of life – who have the desire to feel relevant, and to know that their voice is heard amid the myriad of white noise masking itself as an overbearing and oppressive society. There is a need to boldly and fearlessly encourage and inspire communities to create a better world than the one we see. Rock Alari Studios uses the impacting and sensational medium of the arts to cultivate creative excellence in the “g-local” New York City area and abroad. Hope: The need to be recognized and validated is most greatly seen in inner-city communities, prisons, and juvenile detention centers. In these communities where many live and exist without hope, Rock Alari Studios, will use the dynamic influence of theater and creativity with the proven principles of faith, to foster empowerment and life changing transformation through its R.A.S. Empowerment Workshops.
