Imagine. It’s Monday. You’ve woken up late. You’ve got a million things to do. But you don’t feel like getting out of bed at all. You switch on the radio and chance upon your favourite song. And suddenly, your familiarity to the tunes, enthusiasm to the tempo and your love for the music moves you. It excites your senses, makes you happy and you gather the courage to get dressed, no matter what. Music has the power to change. Not just your mood but so much more. Music influences, regulates and modulates human emotion. It is the fabric of social consistency, morality and the foundation of social integrity. More importantly, music has the ability to transcend linguistic barriers. And it follows almost naturally, that it can a universally acceptable platform for effecting global change. Music, at it’s best, has always been a movement for a better people, a better society - a subtle cultural revolution for the greater good. When Music has always been about change, why not use it in a more channeled, organized manner? It was this realization that led to the birth of Rock For A Cause. Rock For A Cause is an attempt to quantify substantial social change through the medium of something so abstract, yet so effective – Music. A grand aim yes, but then again we are not your everyday charity. Love music. Be the change.
