At Rockhampton North Special School we believe that a successful school is one where students are respected, they love coming to school and they have a voice. We see it as our responsibility to discover and develop the talents of our students, to broaden their interests and to enhance their interpersonal qualities. We develop their communication skills, embrace creativity, encourage teamwork and promote open-minded thinking so that our students are ready to make a positive contribution within the school and to their wider community. Our aim is for students to develop positive relationships, embrace diversity, inspire a deep appreciation for the environment and to treat themselves and others with respect.
