RAC is setup with an aim to provide world class and cost effective advanced composites part and solutions from our purpose built facility in Sachin SEZ, Surat in the state of Gujarat, India. RAC is a subsidiary of Rockman Industries, India’s leading Auto components company (a part of the multi billion dollar Hero Group). RAC provides end to end advanced composites solutions and acts as a one stop shop from concept to finished part production, covering detailed design, material choice, laminate design, patterns, molds, and jigs design and manufacturing. RAC aims to fulfill customer’s complete composite requirements- concept to finished products. Our Vision is to be the global leader in advanced composites parts and solutions for diverse industries. We offers volume production, bespoke, prototypes, and short runs. Utilizing our UK and Indian technical staffs’ wide experience, RAC has ability and capacities to take on full turnkey packages such as - road/race car chassis (sports and single seat) including design, manufacture and testing of crash structures, bodywork, steering wheels, wings, suspension, engine ancillaries‘ (pipes, intake, oil & water tanks), seating, furniture, ladders, electronic boxes, ducting, bicycle frames, component assemblies or individual parts for road and race motorbikes, marine, road and race cars, aerospace, wind turbines, aircraft, helicopters, satellite parts, satellite dishes, scale models, medical, industrial machinery, luxury good, speakers, furnitures etc. RAC works with fibers, resins & sandwich construction and specializes in hand lamination and autoclave or oven curing of parts made from either and /or carbon & glass fibre/epoxy Prepregs.
