About Us Rockwell is a leading company in the distribution, marketing, and special production of luxury kitchenware and tableware equipment, based in Greece. We exclusively distribute products from renowned manufacturers, including KAI Knives Japan, Sabatier French Knives, Laguiole, Claude Dozorme, Robert Welch, CRISTEL, De Buyer, AMT Gastroguss, Skeppshult, La Cuisine, Le Creuset, GEFU, GRAEF, Teakhauss, Legnoart, L’Atelier du Vin, Eisch Glassware, RONA Glassware, Pillivuyt Porcelain, and Seltmann Porcelain. Our History Founded in 1872 by Ioannis Pourikas in Elassona, Larissa, Rockwell started as a personal enterprise focused on manufacturing and trading cutting tools (scissors, knives, etc.) for both home and professional use. Initially, our clientele consisted mainly of livestock farmers and agriculturists from Thessaly, Western Macedonia, and Epirus. During the winter months, the manufacturing workshop was based in Elassona, while in the summer, it relocated to Samarina, Grevena. In 1922, Apostolos Ioannou Pourikas took over, maintaining high quality and expanding distribution throughout Greece. In 1965, Evangelos Apostolou Pourikas shifted the business to importing and distributing foreign brands, ending our production but continuing product repair. By 1992, Leonidas and Apostolos Pourikas modernised the business, focusing on retail and selective wholesale trade. In 1997, under the leadership of Leonidas Pourikas, Rockwell moved its operations to Athens, evolving into a uniquely high-quality enterprise in its field. Today, Rockwell's quality is evident in both retail and wholesale markets across Greece and Cyprus, participating in exhibitions such as HO.RE.CA.
