Rocky Reach is a management consulting group providing targeted strategic support and leadership coaching. Our team works with clients facing a significant challenge or transformation, particularly leaders who want to transition their ideas into strategies and their strategies into reality. With experience in business and effective leadership development, we help leaders transition from strong operational experts to enterprise leaders, grounded in purpose and authenticity. We start with strengths. While high performers often want to skip over areas of strength and focus on areas where they are comparatively less skilled, we start here, and pay close attention. Existing skills offer levers that can accelerate leadership development. Next, we focus on areas that are the most beneficial targets for each individual’s development. Together, we create a plan with two or three key developmental goals that will move the needle. For each, we create a plan that includes action steps, success metrics, and timeframes. We don’t just think about growth…we make it happen. Importantly, we identify actions and practices that integrate seamlessly into a leader’s daily routine and work, because let’s face it…that is how adults actually learn and shift behaviors. By combining executive coaching and targeted practices, leaders learn by doing. Finally, where beneficial, we support leaders to shift dynamics in their organization that will make changes stick. This might include strengthening the clarity and purpose of the leadership team or identifying meaningful metrics and analytics to track what matters, or even rethinking the organizational design options. Together, we work to create an intentional culture and leadership plan that becomes self-sustaining and reinforcing.
