Established in 1961, Roger Hancock Ltd is an independent Literary Agency based in London. Steeped in history, the agency has historically represented British writers, performers, producers, directors, illustrators & musicians, and helped guide and shape the careers of many, such as John Sullivan (Only Fool's & Horses), David Renwick (Jonathan Creek, One Foot in the Grave), Jimmy Perry & David Croft (Dad’s Army), Terry Nation (Daleks, Blake’s 7) and Tony Hancock (Hancock’s Half Hour). A third generation family business, the company endeavours to create a contemporary and nurturing environment for new writers, whilst also looking after the legacy of the business.
