Rolas Food

Established in November 2020, Rolas Food has rapidly emerged as one of Indonesia's largest corporations specializing in government contracts related to staple food supplies. Our focus has been on ensuring the nation's food security while serving critical government projects, particularly in the provision of essential food items. It is marking SNM Ventures’ first merger and acquisition project. This acquisition was driven by a challenging situation during the COVID-19 pandemic, where the acquired company faced debt issues and mismanagement. With our intervention, we revitalized operations and secured major contracts, including with PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, a state-owned enterprise owned by the Jakarta Province Government. In a year, we experienced rapid growth, capturing 30% of the chicken egg market share in Bandung and becoming the second-largest market leader in the region. We successfully supplied chicken eggs to hotels, restaurants, cafes, and traditional markets in Bandung, quickly establishing ourselves as a key player in the local food supply market. This success paved the way for our expansion to Jakarta in 2022, where we sought closer proximity to our government clients, including PD Dharma Jaya, another state-owned enterprise of Jakarta Province Government. We also diversified our product offerings, expanding from chicken eggs to include Mackerel Fish, Frozen Chicken, and Frozen Beef, broadening our presence in the food supply market. By 2023, we reached a milestone, positioning ourselves as a national staple food supplier. We expanded our client base to ID Food, which is a state-owned enterprises holding company supporting national projects aimed at tackling Indonesia's stunting problem. We continue to serve the West Java region, contributing to the nation's nutritional needs.
