Roll It Out

Coming from a background of varied interests and hobbies I encountered Marketing in a complete roundabout way. After finishing a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation I went to pursue further study where I undertook an elective - Marketing in Aviation. This really sparked my interest so I went on to do more study graduating in a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Marketing). Throughout my education and since graduating I have aided many small businesses starting with friends and family and then growing my base of clientele through my knowledge of marketing and old fashioned word of mouth. As my portfolio increased I gained the confidence to start calling it a business and since making that decision I have gradually incorporated what I was already passionate about (photography food and design) into my service offerings. The real reason that drove me to start my own business is through my work I have seen how Marketing and incorporating technology can seem prohibitively expensive to outsource or just plain overwhelming to do yourself; making it restrictive for established or up and coming small business owners. Others have had a simplistic view of marketing with the view that posts on social media are your free meal ticket to instant recognition and brand awareness. However I view a more holistic approach as vitally important to the health and growth of your business. My aim is equip people with the necessary tools to grow and flourish in the online space carving themselves their own unique corner based on their strengths as a business.
