Roman Found

Roman Found is an informative creative platform where design meets digging. Presenting finds and adventures in a multi media approach, Roman Found relates the history behind each find directly with the public to build an awareness and expression around what actually lies beneath our feet. Aiming to break down stereotypes Roman Found presents the real side of metal detecting from the perspective of two designers out in the wild. The Roman Found Team are able to work with all subjects using the unique perspective that metal detecting has with the landscape to draw upon the past and connect people with a sense of place and story. The objects found become important vessels for communication and open up avenues for engagement. This engagement with metal detecting allows Roman Found to uncover content different to what is already out there and engage a range of topics from the outdoor adventure to historical education reaching both an international and national audience.
