Roothouse Aquaponics

Roothouse Aquaponics was established in 2018 and began the construction of its greenhouse facility in the spring of 2019. Utilizing the aquaponic farming method, Roothouse Aquaponics grows a variety of premium leafy greens, culinary herbs and select vegetables. We raise premium nile tilapia that provide the natural and sustainable nutrient source to our plants. At Roothouse, we use 95% less water and grow more than 10 times the produce than conventional farming. We grow year round in our Batavia/Williamsburg greenhouse, providing fresh produce and fish to Cincinnati the surrounding community, restaurants and grocers. We will soon offer tours to the public and open our farm stand in the greenhouse for local sales.
