ROOTS 657 is Chef Rich Rosendale’s eat-in and take-out café and market located in Leesburg, Virginia, at the intersection of Routes 657 and 15. The cafe and locally-inspired market offer the chef’s regionally curated products, featuring local artisans alongside our own house-made soups, salads, sandwiches and fresh-baked goods. On the market shelves, you’ll find house-made gourmet foods, artisanal cheeses, and a selection of condiments curated from the surrounding area and from Chef Rosendale’s world travels. The market also offers beautiful housewares and thoughtfully considered heirloom gifts that are sourced from the community, highlighting the very best that the region has to offer. The ROOTS 657 Greenhouse will soon be located next to the café and market. It will be a place where hosts can make an unforgettable impression on their guests. The space can be reconfigured to fit their needs—from hosting a reception, a sit-down dinner, a workshop, or attending one of Chef Rosendale’s popular cooking classes. This space will sit adjacent to a custom-designed live fire theater, where we will cook local meats and vegetables using locally procured Virginia hardwood. Roots 657 serves lunch, dinner, pastry & coffee with future plans for breakfast. In the evening, the atmosphere celebrates local wines by the glass, local craft beer, and dinner specials, making it a gathering place for surrounding neighbors, travelers, and tourists.
