Founded in 2012, Roots is the only gluten-free, grain-free, soy-free, meat-free, guilt-free café in Valparaiso, Indiana. Best known for the more than two dozen hand-crafted juices and smoothies we make. we also feature baked goods, dairy-free parfaits, raw truffles, vegan-soups, salads, wraps, and quinoa bowls made in-house daily. Roots is the an alternative to those typical fast casual dining options that leave you feeling bloated or just plain bad. Our team of lovely and dedicated human beings are diverse in their backgrounds yet share a passion for our mission-making you feel good. Long-time downtown Valpo residents, Carrie and Bill Durnell are owners the nurturers-in-chief of this one-of-a-kind, community-based small business.
