Rose Solutions

Rose Solutions is a small business located in Baltimore, Maryland. We were founded in 2009 in order to fill the growing needs of state and local education agencies, schools, and non-profit organizations. As the importance of accountability, data-driven decision making, and research-based programming grows, these partners in the educational arena face the challenge of determining program effectiveness and communicating successes to stakeholders. Our services provide two key types of support: professional development and program evaluation. The founder and lead researcher, Bess A. Rose, has provided research and evaluation services to the Maryland State Department of Education since 2001. She was educated at Johns Hopkins University (B.A, Sociology), the University at Buffalo (M.A, Comparative Literature - Critical Theory), and Western Governors University (M.Ed, Measurement and Evaluation). She expects to complete her doctorate in education in the Department of Teacher Development and Leadership at the Johns Hopkins School of Education in 2013. She was raised in Baltimore and is proud to call it her home.
