Liverpool Philharmonic enhances and transforms lives through music, reaching more people than any other music organisation outside London. At the heart of Liverpool Philharmonic is the critically acclaimed Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra (the UK’s oldest). The iconic Grade II listed Art Deco Philharmonic Hall and smaller venue the Music Room host a diverse programme of artists ranging from contemporary, rock, pop, folk, roots and jazz music, to comedy, film and spoken word. Central to Liverpool Philharmonic’s mission is an extensive learning programme. Recognised as a national leader in its field in its quality, reach and impact on local communities the programme provides regular musical training to thousands of young people through Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Company and In Harmony Liverpool. The flagship Music and Health Programme is the longest-running and largest of its kind supporting over people living with mental and physical ill health across the Liverpool City Region.
