Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Houston, Texas, Renewable Power Direct (RPD) facilitates the sourcing, contracting and delivery of renewable energy to U.S. businesses so they can achieve their energy sustainability objectives. Since our inception, RPD has emerged as a national leader in 24*7 CFE (carbon-free electricity) solutions, matching renewable energy supply with customer load profiles. RPD offers access to competitively priced supply contracts for green power. RPD sources the energy directly from renewable generators and arranges for physical dispatch into the grid. Our innovative approach enables customers to buy renewable energy rather than merely buying RECs to offset or “green up” grid-based power purchases. Our enterprise customers receive load analytics, and we also identify wind, solar, hydro, and other renewable source assets that are analyzed hourly for forecasting through the same simulation process used to create a similar picture of the generation portfolio. Additionally, we deliver hourly load-matching, and we work with Retail Energy Providers (REP) to structure retail leg and present standard retail transactions to customers.
