Our vision is to become a leading example of regulatory practice in the Gulf region. Our mission is to support Dubai’s economic, social, and environmental objectives through development of an effective, independent, and transparent regulatory regime for the emirate’s electricity and water sector. The RSB was established by Executive Council Resolution Number 2 of 2010. We work under the auspices of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, developing regulatory frameworks to support Dubai’s development through secure and affordable energy supply and efficient energy use, while meeting environmental and sustainability objectives.
