Initially established to help owners and occupiers of business or non-domestic premises appeal against their business rates, the Ruddle Merz group has grown since 1996 to offer a range of services to companies looking to reduce their costs. During that time, the business has gone from strength to strength, saving more than 2,500 clients a total of over £150 million, and now employs more than 40 people across the UK. As well as our founding principles – to save clients money; to communicate openly with them; to be a responsible employer; and to act with integrity – much of our success has been based on employing the best experts from within each of the sectors we work. Within business rates, that means building our business around experts who have held senior positions at the Valuation Office Agency.
