Dance is soul of life. It provide and give meaning to feelings. The biggest thing that classical dance and music does to you is help attain balance between your mind and soul. One can express his complete feelings by hand movements, postures (sama), and expressions. In this age of internet, many are doing dance by watching online videos. While the internet is suitable for an exposure to the dance form, true learning happens only in the classroom in the Guru-Shisyaparampara. At Rudrashala, we believe and follow Guru-Shisyaparampara. Through my training, we help students to be aware that classical dance is connected to spiritualism and culture, because I believe that people will appreciate tradition all over again. We use the traditional parameters to choreograph new presentations. We want people to see that even classical style can be very appealing, interesting and dignified. The classes at Rudrashala give them an opportunity to learn Kathak dance, express themselves creatively and perform on stage. Under our guidance student can pursue for professional degree in Kathak from reputed universities. Dance has no age limit from four to eighty four all are welcome. Classes are available for fabulous kids (4 to 10 years) and adults (10 years onwards) Our aim is to make the aspirant learn an ancient classical form of dancing and yet enjoy learning to the fullest in homely environment.
