Founded in 1939 in Pfaffenhausen, RUF Automobile GmbH is officially recognised as a manufacturer by the German government and has an established history as a producer of high-performance sports cars. In 1975 the first RUF-enhanced Porsche came to life and in 1987 the record-breaking Yellowbird exploded on to the automotive scene. RUF Automobile has been designing, engineering, and building its own unique automobiles for customers around the world. In addition to the breath-taking range of cars of today, including the CTR3, RTR, 3800S, RGT and Turbo Florio, RUF restores and maintains classic Porsche cars. RUF Automobile UK is based in Tunbridge Wells and is the representative office of the company in the United Kingdom.
