My journey has taken me to the heart of rug-making regions such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Turkey, and India, where I’ve collaborated with artisans, studied weaving traditions, and mastered the language of texture, color, and craftsmanship. Over the years, I’ve worked with both natural fibers and innovative man-made materials, blending techniques rooted in Persian, Turkish, and Tibetan weaving heritage. This experience has shaped my ability to design and curate rugs that meet the refined expectations of the world’s leading interior designers and architects. Through Rug Icon, I bring this depth of knowledge to life offering high-end collections and bespoke creations for resellers through our wholesale division, designers through our – To The Trade” program, and end clients through our retail channels.
