As a specialty rug retailer, RugSmart provides an outstanding collection of floor coverings to meet the creative needs of residential and commercial customers nationwide. Our focus is providing an exceptional shopping and service experience. RugSmart founders, Stephen Cumbest and Chris Saliga, started selling rugs on an Atlanta street corner. As their knowledge of the business grew, so did their inventory, which led to the opening of the store on "Furniture Row" in Norcross, Georgia. In the partners added strength to their management team when they brought on a third partner, Nathan Williams, who has more than two decades of business experience in furniture retailing. We were recognized at the 2006 Atlanta International Area Rug Market with a nomination for Rug Retailer of the Year. RugSmart won the Rug Retailer of the Year award for creative selling in 2003 and has since been consistently recognized as an industry leader. RugSmart Interiors has also been honored with feature stories in esteemed industry publications Rug Insider, Floor Covering Weekly, and Area: the Official Publication of the Oriental Rug Importers Association. RugSmart is an ASID Member.
