Our 14 robust deadwood chalets are set in the wilderness by Lake Salonkijärvi, only 2 km from Ruka Ski Resort center. Further, the 10 semi-detached villa-apartment, also built of robust deadwood are located at the other end of the resort, overlooking Lake Veskajärvi. Wild Food Restaurants Our on-site private restaurant Kultala's features local wild food and home-cooking at its best. We are happy to cater to the chalets and villa-apartments, where you can enjoy your meal by the fireplace with your loved ones. In the wintertime Kultala features an outdoors ice-bar and the area has several kota-huts for the use of our guests. For further local culinary experiences you find our a la carte restaurant Rukan Kuksa in the middle of Ruka Village. Restaurant Rukan Kuksa serves seasonal wild food dishes.
