Rukhsana Foundation

Rukhsana Foundation was founded in 2005 to help alleviate some of the social discrepancies and problems faced by the underprivileged sectors of the population of Afghan refugees and Pakistanis in poverty. The main aim of the Foundation is to help as best it can to fulfill the basic needs of people it can reach, and to help them to be able to help themselves in future as well. Over the years the Foundation has helped educate as many people as it can reach in regard to their health, medical needs, hygiene, basic schooling, food, providing shelter to the victims of natural disasters, and providing ration packs and supplies; doing whatever is possible to help as many disadvantaged people as it can. The Rukhsana Foundation was founded by the late Mrs. Rukhsana Mushtaaq Tahirkeli (Late) and her son Dr. Naeem Tahirkheli. Rukhsana Foundation is a non-governmental organization registered under the ACT, XXI of 1860, with the object of enriching the lives of the less fortunate through good education and better health.
