Rumexr

Founded in 2014 RUMEXR started as a collective of digital artists working on cross-disciplinary projects including creative code, spatial sound and even neurofeedback. After many showcases around Europe with art installations and edgy audiovisual performances, co-founder Fanni Fazakas entered the XR scene in New York back in 2017. Since then the group’s focus turned towards immersive technologies and many more joined the team with a background in game development, animation and UX design for XR. Gaining enough confidence in creating AR/VR projects in Unreal Engine we decided to try ourselves in Virtual Production. We created photorealistic level design and lighting while our XR director was on set, in charge of blending the virtual with the physical. We are also proud that our own social projects have been selected for festivals such as IDFA, and Raindance, and for workshops at CPH:DOX, VR Days or even the Biennale College Cinema. Our team of fifteen is looking for opportunities within which we can prove ourselves but also contribute to a bigger social or environmental cause. Come and challenges us!
