RuminariLive is a 1,375 square foot multi-use space in Beaumont, Alberta encompassing 600 square for a rehearsal/performance/events. This multi-purpose space stimulates and enhances artistic, cultural and economic activities. With our artist/community collaboration projects, we seek out groups that have not been represented, either on the stage or in the seats. By including them in our work and adding their stories to our cultural fabric, we create a a space with a unique approach to the creation of the arts that explore not only the fullest potential, but also the complex relationship between an individual and community identity. To this end, we are constantly seeking out new collaborations that help build bridges between diverse communities, as well as foster pride and intellectual excitement. RuminariLive rents it's space for performance & rehearsal, as well as small theatres, events, and meetings. This facility focuses on original works and finding new voices and breath in the arts with more groups presenting a wider variety of artistic expressions that require a smaller performance venue. Our in house programming includes classes, galleries and celebrations throughout the year. We are a comprehensive space that offers alternative experiences for both local groups and touring professionals. We encourage the development of unique methods of artistic creation that brings artists from different disciplines together with community members to create art that is challenging, educational and engaging. RuminariLive draws on traditions that are universal and blends techniques, styles and themes across a spectrum of the arts.
