Rural Action Yorkshire

Rural Action Yorkshire works with villages and smaller rural communities throughout North, West and South Yorkshire to help improve the quality of life of the people who live and work there. We help our members to recognise and develop the skills and knowledge that exists within their community. By encouraging whole community involvement RAY aims to empower local people in order for them to be able to have an input into how their local area and services are best managed. RAY aims to ensure that rural issues and 'the rural voice' are heard, acknowledged and addressed by the decision and policy makers at all levels of government. We also work closely in partnership with other voluntary and statutory organisations.
