Rural Development Lab

Rural Development Lab is a student-led initiative of TISS, Tuljapur. The primary objective of the Rural Development Lab is to create a dedicated space where students, faculty, and researchers can collaborate and engage in activities that promote rural development. MISSION We aim to work collaboratively with the rural community, leveraging knowledge, innovation, and partnerships to address their needs and aspirations. Through education, skill development, and entrepreneurship, we want to empower the community while promoting sustainable practices that enhance their livelihoods and preserve the environment. VISION Our vision is to create a model village that catalyzes rural transformation. We envision a vibrant community where residents can access quality education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities. We have that through our work, we aspire to inspire other rural communities and organizations to adopt holistic approaches to sustainable development, leading to a self-reliant rural India.
