RYD was born in 2014 out of a passion for ocean sports. We wanted to create inspiring product and an inclusive platform that encompassed all we loved about our ocean life. Today we pride ourselves in being a manufacturer and international distribution company of the highest quality gear and accessories. With over two decades experience in the action-sports accessories industry we’ve dedicated our focus on creating products that not only progress you to the next level, but continually put a smile on your face and create fun memories that last a lifetime. In that vein, we want the waves to be good where YOU are. That is the core philosophy of all things RYD. We’re all about sharing the stoke that surfing brings, whether you’re a newbie or a pro. We all know that from time-to-time surfing can get a little cynical and competitive — and we’re not talking contests, those are cool! We mean the hustling in the line-up for the best waves, claiming how good the waves were yesterday (or just before you arrived), how someone did a better turn, got a bigger barrel or caught way more waves than anyone else. And don’t even start us on rambling on about the good old days! We’d prefer you, our mates, the other members of our #RYDtribe to score wherever you are.
