We are a multifaceted firm that has executed over 200 projects of various complexities and types in the last 47 years. We refuse to be typecast as a boutique firm or a firm specialising in a certain building type. We believe that design is continuous that flows from a masterplan to objects and people inhabiting a space. For us interiors and architecture are not separate activities but one seamless process of inhabiting the world. Few offices celebrate their forty years of existence while looking forward to thirty more. Longevity has its benefits beyond the collective experience of years and the diversity of people who join our office as employees or associates. It allows one to understand the transient nature of the trends and styles. We strive to look beyond the fashionable to find what has never changed. Therefore, we often find our inspiration in the ancient and in archetypes: the dark cave, the solitary hut in the mountain side, the canyon, the courtyard. the folded paper plane and hair braids. Things that are renitent to change fascinate us more. In an age of multinational 100-person design firms, we find ourselves resisting growth, wanting to slow down.in the full knowledge that a building finished before time wins accolades on the day of the inauguration, but a thoughtful design, constructed with patience and care, will be a joy forever.
