FOR THE 10TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR, LEADING IN EXPORT OF DRY CAPSICUM FROM PERU TO THE WORLD S&M FOODS is proudly leading the exports of paprika from Peru to the world, maintaining the first position in the market of dried peppers with the participation of 7.2% of the market among 84 companies approx. in the Peruvian market. Since 2013, We are leaders exporting this product to the world. It currently has three production plants in Barranca with a production capacity of 10 thousand tons per year: 6 thousand are paprika only and the rest of quinoa, beans, etc. The markets that were added in the last years, were Dubai, Hong Kong, Russia and Vietnam. The external market represents 95% of production. The most important is the United States, Mexico, and Spain. S&M FOODS, has more than 80 products, among them, beans (Lima Beans, Black Eyed, Mung, etc.), Andean Grains (Quinoa, Chia, Amaranth, etc.), paprika (dry, powder, and flake) and more. The main one is paprika, which represents 65% of its total sales. The company has the certifications of HACCP, Organic Certification (USDA—EU), Sanitary Authorization (SENASA), Kosher and BRC. S&M FOODS maintains a presence in several international fairs, such as SIAL PARIS, EXPOALIMENTARIA, EXPOANTAD MEXICO, and ANUGA GERMANY.
