We are S-ray Diagnostics. We exist to make corporate and business strategies a success. Most strategies are great, bright and beautiful. The intriguing fact is that a lot of these strategies don’t work or even fail. Apparently, having a strategy is not a guarantee for success. What determines the success of a corporate strategy is its effective execution. If strategy is not alive in the organization and has no status among the people working there, then managers and employees are unaware of, at best puzzled by, and for sure not committed to the strategy. Being set up as a company of the Erasmus University Rotterdam, we developed scientifically sound and highly innovative methodology and tooling to make strategies everyone's everyday job. The S-ray Scan enables executives to objectively challenge and test the alignment of people in the organization with the strategy. The scan delivers an in-depth and crystal-clear diagnostic picture of the locus, degree and content of strategic alignment throughout your organization. Which business units, departments and teams are aligned and which ones are not? The diagnostic outcome is delivered in an easy-to-interpret visual format (infographics), allowing everyone in the organization to understand and get the bigger picture of strategy. An integral part of the S-ray Scan regards the assessment of so-called alignment drivers. Alignment can be purposefully manufactured, enabling executives to act upon strategic alignment - rather then having strategic misalignment act upon executives. The drivers of alignment have been revealed over the course of years through scientific inquiry. The assessment of these drivers helps to explain and understand the diagnostic outcome - especially in cases of non- or misalignment - and provides the hands-on anchor-points for improvement and change interventions. Improving drivers of alignment at risk is bound to enhance strategic alignment and consequently company performance.
