S4J Ltd are specialist structural steel and precast concrete erectors with over 30 years experience in the industry. We will use this page to showcase specialist, out of the ordinary installations that set us apart from jobbing PCC flooring erectors. That said, we are proud of our heritage and the 100+ erectors we trained and introduced to the industry! ironically creating our own competition. S4J Ltd are renowned for productivity on fast track contracts with tight programmes, we haven't failed yet on our part in meeting programme dates, we won't take on contracts with unreasonable programmes but we will meet or improve on the finish date of any contract we do take on. We specialise in multi-storey frames such as structural steel or PCC column and beam car parks incorporating PCC flooring, PCC crosswall frames for hotels, student accomodation and prisons, stadia terracing and distribution depot dock pits and retaining walls. We are particularly adept at installing precast in situations where crane lifts are not possible, such as building refurbishments, low head room, roofs on or where using telehandlers is simply more efficient and far cheaper. Installing stairs by moving them into position on skids and finally positioning them with block and tackle, we take in our stride because of our experience including the preperation of RAMS to carry out this very dangerous work in a controlled and safe manner. We are equally at home and highly experienced at installing hollowcore flooring and stairs and install for the major and reputable manufacturers such as Acheson & Glover, Bison and Charcon CS, saving our clients on jobs that never overrun on our part, our clients appreciate that "Cheap as Chips" erectors really are a false economy. My men stand by my personal guarentee that we will do the hours required, within reason to get the loads off and the cranes away and always finish on time.
