SA Harvest rescues surplus food that would otherwise end up in landfills and redirects it, safely and swiftly, to communities who need it most. Using a national network of refrigerated vehicles and strategic collection points, we collect quality food from farms, manufacturers, retailers, and hospitality partners, and deliver it direct, without delay and free of charge to organisations feeding vulnerable people daily. Unlike many food relief models, we rescue and distribute both perishable and non-perishable food, ensuring that recipient organisations receive a balanced variety of ingredients. This enables them to prepare full, nourishing meals - not just fill stomachs, but restore dignity. Our Impact is Four-Fold: 1. Nutritious meals for vulnerable communities We provide diverse, quality food (fresh produce, proteins, dry goods, and more) enabling community kitchens and shelters to serve wholesome, nutrient-rich meals every day.
