BACKGROUND SABLE Assets is a software development and consultancy company. It was a business unit of SABLE Data Works (Pty) Ltd until 1 September 2015. SABLE Data Works which, from its origins in the early 1980’s, SABLE® has steadily developed into a leading provider of scientific data management systems and associated services, providing data management systems to blue chip private and public sector companies across Africa and the Middle East. The expertise and know how that was used in growing SABLE Data Woks was and is in the approach to software and data management and used in the development and progress of SABLE Assets. ACTIVITIES OF OUR BUSINESS The core business of Sable Assets fall into three main streams: • Software Development covering all aspects of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), we develop both our own systems and also develop bespoke systems based on specific client’s requirements. Sable provides for fully outsourced software development including turn-key software development for clients. The company develops, licences and supports Software on an ongoing basis 24/7/365. • Training, Sable Assets is a fully accredited training provider with the MICT Seta with planned expansion of scope into the LGSETA scope and others. In this regard our software and core competencies (subject matter expertise) are combined to provide training courses for a variety of clients and business partners. We continue to work toward becoming a fully accredited Embarcadero and Delphi Training Provider for SADC region. Out of that other certifications will follow.
